Kristen Friend is the U.S. Supreme Court contributor for SEOLawFirm.com’s Newsroom.

Kristen graduated from Indiana University in 1999 with a B.A. in journalism, a B.A. in religious studies, and a minor in political science. She is the only SEOLawFirm.com Newsroom contributor who is not a dedicated staff writer. Kristen is the Art and Design Director for SEOLawFirm.com’s parent company, Adviatech and holds an Associates degree from The Art Institute.

Kristen was selected for the U.S. Supreme Court and Congress section of the SEOLawFirm.com Newsroom due to her prior experience in covering political stories. As a journalist, Kristen questioned such figures as former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft, former Florida Governor, Jeb Bush, and U.S. Congressman Guss Bilirakis. She also interviewed U.S. Congressman and 2006 Florida governor candidate Jim Davis. Kristen’s coverage of the Sami Al-Arian case for WMNF in Tampa Florida was broadcasted on Free Speech Radio News.

During that time, she also interviewed representatives from FCAN, ACORN, and covered a variety stories from the Tampa Bay area.

Recently, Kristen has covered multiple topics such as inequality in same sex relationships and how health care reform will affect senior citizens. Such articles have been widely syndicated online.
