Working With Tags on Law Firm Blog

Click on the posts menu item on the left-hand sidebar, and click on post tags. Tags allow you to assign keywords to your content so that the site’s visitors and search engines can easily find relevant content. You can easily add a new tag from this page by entering a name, a slug (a URL friendly version of the name), and entering a description for the tag. Then press the add new tag button. On the right side of the tag page, you will see a list of all the tags in the system along with info such as description, slug, and number of posts. Clicking on the number in the posts column will take you to the posts page where you will see a list of posts assigned to this tag. Hovering your mouse over any of the items in the list will bring up a list of options. Clicking on the tag name or the edit option will take you to the edit page for that tag. Here you can easily edit the tag, including the name and slug and then enter the description. Then click on the update button to save your changes.
