Introduction to Link Categories on Law Firm Website

Link categories let you organize the links on your site according to their subject matter. This is not related to the categories of your posts. To access the link categories screen, click to open the links module of the left-hand sidebar and then click link categories. To add a link category, enter a name, a slug (a URL friendly version of the name), and a description. Then click on the add new link category button. On the right-hand side you will see a list of all the categories available in the system, along with info such as the description, slug, and number of links belonging to the categories. Clicking on the link’s quantity will take you to a list of all the links assigned to this category. Hovering your mouse over any of the link categories displays a list of options. Clicking on either the name of the item or the edit option will take you to the edit screen of that link category. Here you can easily edit the link category by modifying the name, slug, or description. Then click on the update button to save your changes.
