Approving And Editing Comments on Law Firm Website
Comments are remarks left by the users or yourself that visit your website. They may be suitable for your website. Comments displays a list of comments along with the author, comment text, and what page it was made. Hovering your mouse over the comment will display a number of options. Approved comments will be visible to visitors on your website. You may want to hold off on approving a comment until you have had time to consider it. Unapproving the comment makes it pending, and will not display it on your site. You can mark comments as spam, which is sometimes the default, and the system will hold it in the spam section, or you can delete it permanently.
The trash works in the same way. Within trash, you can restore a comment or delete it permanently. When deleted permanently, you cannot get back a comment. The edit comment screen lets you edit the author’s name, email address, URL and the comment text itself. The status can also be changed using the radio buttons in the status module. To save changes to the comment, press the update comment button. You can also reply to a comment by selecting the reply option. Simply enter your reply in the editor and then click on the submit reply button. You can also press the cancel button to cancel your reply. Once your reply is submitted it will be published for visitors to review.
