Claiming a listing on the SEOLawFirm.com Find a Lawyer Directory is easy!
Step 1
You must register to claim your listing. Accounts are free and do not require billing information at signup.
Once you register, an email will be sent to you with a verification link. You will need to click on that link before proceeding.
Step 2
Return to http://www.seolawfirm.com/find and login at the top left of the screen with your selected username and password.
Step 3
Search for your first and last name then select the state where your practice is located. Click on the blue search button.
Step 4
Click on the listing to confirm that it is your own.
Step 5
Click on the “Claim Listing” button at the top left of the screen.
Step 6
Verify by typing in the letters and/or numbers in the image
Step 7
Please allow 24-48 hours for your claim to be approved. SEOLawFirm.com will use your email address to verify that the listing belongs to you. If we are unable to verify by cross referencing your email, IP address location, and other data available then we will attempt to verify by phone.
Step 8
Once your listing is approved, you will receive an email and then you can return to http://www.seolawfirm.com/find to login again.

Step 9
You will now see your listing under “My Listings” when you login. Click on the “edit” icon at seen in the image below.
Step 10
Select your practice area. Click on the cross next to the folder to see sub categories under the primary practice area.
Step 11
Ignore the “Add also to other categories” for now.
Step 12
Select your service plan. If you want to update your listing and add your law firm name, select the free basic plan. To link to your website, add a description of your firm, include YouTube Videos, featured top page status in the directory, link to multiple categories, and get contacted by potential clients from your listing page, select the Law Firm Plan for $24.95/month. This is a monthly subscription that auto-renews until cancelled. (For Premium assistance see Step 14).
NOTE: You will be asked to submit your website if you select a basic listing but it will not be visible unless you upgrade.
Step 13
If you are just wanting to claim your listing, fill out the information about your firm (emails are not published) and click on “Edit Listing”. Your listing will be live once a moderator approves it. You can always return later to upgrade your listing.
Step 14
Premium Plan
Select “Law Firm - $24.95/month” from the plans box. Multiple new fields will display underneath. Fill out the information, description, and other information.
Step 14: YouTube
Adding a YouTube Video is easy. Go to your YouTube Video page and copy the URL you see under “link”. Then paste it in the YouTube Field. This URL looks something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVn4ZVXzsg4.
Step 14: Deep Links (SEO)
Deep Links are SEO friendly links that you can use to hyperlink your keyphrases to specific parts of your website. For Example, a Dover Criminal Defense Lawyer could put Dover Criminal Defense in the “Title” box and link to the criminal defense URL of their website.
Step 15
You will be redirected to PayPal to make your payment. You can pay by phone at 1.800.728.5306 if you wish to use a Visa, MasterCard, or American Express without going through PayPal.
Your Listing is Now Live – Some listings may require further verification so if your listing is not immediately live, please wait 24 hours.
